WHO WE ARE
Brain Cancer Warriors began in 2022 as a golf outing fundraiser event in honor of the late Brian G. McVeigh who lost his life to glioblastoma on New Year's Eve of 2020 after a 14-month battle with the disease. What began as the Brian McVeigh Memorial Golf Outing has now blossomed into a non-profit 501(3)(c) national corporation with two primary objectives:
Raise funds for brain cancer research
Build a community of people bonding through the mutual experience of battling brain cancer and a desire to find a cure
Since 2022 we have raised over $150,000 for brain cancer research proving there is POWER in the combined hearts and mind of those willing to take this disease on. We are incredibly grateful and humbled by our loyal and committed supporters and feel empowered to make a difference!
